What do I need to know about a visit?
For an educational visit excluding a workshop we would recommend factoring at minimum a 1.5 hour visit into your itinerary (3hrs with workshop and lunchroom). You can book in advance and ticket collection will be from our box office on the day but don't worry about a thing, you will hear from us by email in the lead up to your visit to ensure you have everything you need for a Shrektacular adventure!
Can I book and confirm numbers nearer the time?
Yes you can! We offer a flexible booking option whereby you can book now and reserve tickets for an estimated number of pupils and confirm and pay for final number 14 days before your visit date. You can either do this over the phone or email us your booking form.
Do you provide content I can use in the classroom?
We are all about opportunities which bring a touch of magic to learning, so we’ve created completely free resources to support you in the classroom. You can also sign-up to receive free and exclusive behind-the-scenes film footage and educational content from Merlin Schools London.
Can I include a workshop within the visit?
You can and the exciting thing is we have an immersive education space! A workshop booking includes admission (the tour), access to the education space for lunch and one of our 30-45minute workshops. Our Workshops are suitable for Key Stage 1 or 2 only.
Where can school groups go for lunch?
If you have a workshop booked you are able to use our education space as a lunch room pre/post workshop. Otherwise the nearest place that we recommend for schools to eat lunch would be in Jubilee Gardens, weather permitting.
I need to write a risk assessment
Please download our free risk assessment to help support in the writing of your own. You will also receive two planning tickets once payment for your school visit has been made and successfully received. This allows you to come and visit us Monday-Friday outside of school holidays, to scope out a visit to us for yourself.
